Mob-Grazing
Our cattle are quickly rotated through a practice called “mob-grazing” to imitate the Bison who once roamed the lush, fertile prairies of North America. We believe this method of holistic farming creates a superior, healthier product. It allows us to work with nature rather than against it.
Here’s how it works:
Mob-grazing works in harmony with the natural process of nature. The cattle essentially aerate, plant, and fertilize the soil in which their own food grows. By moving cattle every 12 hours into a different segment of land, the healthy soil is built by giving roots time to establish in new growth.
